Solace Graphics is a provider of brand and logo development, high-quality signs, freestanding signage, sign making, and commercial window designs in Placer and Nevada County. Solace Graphics provides vehicle graphics and wraps for individual and commercial vehicle fleets. Ken is familiar with many code, licensing, and permit processes, streamlining sign design, construction, and installation.
Ken Teichmann, Solace Graphics owner, and craftsman, worked closely with Standard Pacific Homes through the firm Defining Elements from 2003-2007. Solace Graphics provided site locator signs, directional signs, project identity signs, and model home signs.
Additionally, with Defining Elements, Ken implemented a comprehensive human directional signage plan, as an aspect of Standard Pacific’s marketing. Work for this client included proper identification of locator signs and all related permit processes. Solace Graphics managed integrated, complex commercial signage projects throughout the housing boom prior to the 2008 economic recession.
Prior to founding Solace Graphics, Ken worked on many vehicles detailing projects, and held his own business customizing, tinting, and applying vehicle graphics in Hollywood. He was a regular on the Warner Brothers set as a key detailing contractor for television vehicles.
When Ken relocated to Nevada County from Southern California around 2004, he opened Solace Graphics. Over the years, many signs have been constructed throughout Placer and Nevada Counties by Soalce Graphics.
Solace Graphics’ knowledge of the sign industry allows Teichmann to produce artwork that makes it easy to fabricate and install creative brand and logo designs. Graphics can be applied to any surface using transparent window films and translucent or opaque vinyl combinations with laminate protective coatings. Vinyl adhesive strengths are available ranging from low tack for easy removal to high tack, designed for heavy traffic in commercial and public areas.
Solace constructs commercial signage, created with router-cut foam, plasma-cut steel, aluminum letter faces, and digital prints, which are installed on a variety of substrates.
