Before founding Solace Graphics, Ken worked on many vehicle detailing projects and held his own business, customizing, tinting, and applying vehicle graphics in North Hollywood. He was a regular on the Warner Bros. and Universal Studios sets as a key detailing contractor for television vehicles.
When Ken relocated to Nevada County from Southern California around 2004, he established Solace Graphics to serve the local community. Over the years, Solace Graphics has created numerous signs visible across Placer and Nevada Counties, helping local businesses develop memorable and effective visual identities. Ken’s deep knowledge of codes, licensing, and permit processes streamlines every phase of sign design, construction, and installation, ensuring compliance with local ordinances while meeting tight deadlines.
From 2003 to 2007, Ken worked closely with Standard Pacific Homes through the design firm Defining Elements. Solace Graphics produced site locator signs, directional signs, project identity signs, and model home signs that blended seamlessly with overall site branding. Additionally, Ken implemented a comprehensive human directional signage plan as part of Standard Pacific’s marketing efforts, which required carefully identifying all locator sign requirements and securing the correct permits. Solace Graphics successfully managed these complex, integrated commercial signage projects during the housing boom prior to the 2008 economic recession.
